Crystal Light Contest

I recently got a sample pack of Crystal Light Immunity On The Go Cherry Pomegranate. I have never had Crystal Light before, mostly because I thought it would taste like crap.

WOW! Was I ever wrong! I loved this, it was delicious! I don't know if it is only this flavor or the whole lot but I intend to find out.

Now I am out to spread the word to others who haven't yet tried this wonderful and healthy drink.

I thought Vitamin Water was healthy but Crystal Light has no Sugar or Fat and only 5 calories per serving! When I saw that I felt like somebody had slapped my face! I don't know how they pack so much flavor into something that is basically 5 calories and some vitamins! This is the real vitamin water, I think I will be sticking with this now, the only thing it is missing is the cute little blurbs on the side of the packaging, talking about how that particular flavor will affect everyday situations in very exaggerated ways.

Anyway, I have (2)two boxes of Crystal Light On the go up for grabs.

To win you can:

1)Leave a comment with a recipe for a healthy SNACK, that you think would go well with Crystal Light. The snack has to be quick and easy but most of all it has to taste good! I love food, so it will have to be delicious! I will judge this myself.

OR

2)You can blog about my contest and tell people how great Crystal Light is. You have to have a link to my blog and a link to the Crystal Light web page in the blog. The winner for this method will be chosen at random. If you choose this method please e-mail me with your url to the blog post and your name so that I will know. If you are entering this way, when you link to my contest use this URL; http://mamasampler.blogspot.com/2008/07/crystal-light-contest.html

Each winner will receive (1)Crystal Light On The Go random flavor and (1) Crystal Light Immunity On The Go Cherry Pomegranate, each of these boxes contain 10 packets of Crystal Light.

Rules:
1 entry per person, per method. The same person cannot win both prizes. People from the continental US only please. I reserve the right to change or add rules at my discretion. All entries must be received by midnight on Wensday July 16th. Winners will be notified on Thursday July 17th.

not to scare anyone but be wary of all of the artificial colorings in crystal light, I am sensitive to yellow and red. sounds crazy but just be wary. I love the stuff I just wish they would color it with natural stuff.

My family loves Crystal Light On the Go. Last year, we took it with us when we went to Disney World, along with a box of Kashi bars in my purse. MUCH cheaper than buying drinks in the park, with flavors we like, and no sugar. My daughter loves the pink lemonade, while my husband is particularly partial to Peach Tea. we just kept refilling water bottles and adding Crystal LIght. Great!

Not a recipe, really. But what really goes great with Crystal Light is fresh fruit! Like watermelon and cantaloupe. I can't get enough of fruit!!!

I call if Farmers Market Pasta Salad. I cook whatever kind of pasta I have in the house and then throw in whatever veggies I bring home from the market.... zucchini, asparagus, broccoli, tomatoes ... whatever is fresh. Crystal Light would be the perfect compliment.

I just tried this recently and I'm hooked. Get some Laughing Cow light swiss spreadable cheese wedges. Each wedge is only 35 calories. Spread it on Triscuits crackers. One cheese wedge will be enough to spread over an entire serving of crackers. It tastes sooooo good and would really complement the Crystal Light drink. Try it. I swear you'll love it! doot65 at comcast dot net

Big, soft salted pretzels with lots of brown spicy mustard for dipping. Crystal Light on the Go is great. We can enjoy the flavor we like when we like.

My favorite healthy snack to go with it is some whole wheat crackers spread with natural peanut butter and then sprinkle some ground flax seed on top.

Thank you for the Crystal Light Contest. I love to toast bread then cover it with cream cheese and top with tomato slices. This goes so well with Crystal Light.

I have recently been converted to Crystal Light. What goes well with it for me is blackberries.

I like to have cottage cheese and wheat thins, I use the cottage cheese as a dip. It's great for dipping carrots and celery sticks too.

I like to make a bowl of trail mix to go with my Crystal Light: a couple of handfuls of crunchy whole grain cereal, a handful of lightly salted peanuts or roasted almonds, a handful of chewy dried fruit such as raisins or tart cherries, and sometimes a little chocolate such as M&Ms or chocolate chips. Thanks for the offer!

Fresh fruit is always our favorite healthy snack to take on the road. My best friend is a flight attendant and goes to Brazil twice a week. She always brings me back Crystal Light from there in wonderful flavors that I can't find here. Our favorite is the Mango flavored one. Thank you for the nice giveaway.

Since my son is allergic to nuts finding healthy snacks is a lot harder. We eat a lot of fruit. We love the Peach tea.

My family loves Crystal Light On The Go. It's much better for them than soda. I always take along some trail mix when we travel to get away from some of the bad snacks like chips.

I love Crystal Light, but I never end up buying it, because I'm the ONLY one in my household of six that likes it!

Crystal Light goes perfectly with Quaker Mini Race Cakes, especially Pink Lemonade Crystal Light and Caramel flavored Quaker minis. It tastes like you are having a sugary, fattening snack, but it's almost calorie free:)
